- Fishing
We have two custom-built 16’ cathedral hull skiffs with electronics including a GPS spot-lock trolling motor that allows us to drift efficiently in windy conditions and stay on the fish. The boat has customised fishing platforms to ease casting and minimise line tangles.
These boats will be utilised to fish the lakes where GT up to 40kg have been landed successfully, other species like Rock Salmon, Pickhandle Pick, and other trevally species are also in abundance within the lakes.
Catching giants trevally in Kosi Bay can be a thrilling experience for anglers of all skill levels. These powerful fish are known for their aggressive strikes and hard-fighting nature, making them a sought-after catch for many anglers.
The giant trevally is known to be an aggressive predator that feeds on a variety of baitfish and crustaceans. They are most active during the early morning and late afternoon, and they tend to congregate around structures such as reefs, rocks, and drop-offs.
Our guides will be able to assist in fishing the correct tides, location, and time to ensure that the angler will have the best available chance to catch a fish of a lifetime.
Casting big poppers and stick baits as well as paddle tails from the boat and/or shore can be a very productive technique to entice an explosive bite for one of these apex predators.
