Giant Trevally (GT) are targeted across the globe by the most enthusiastic anglers and are abundant in most of the rural and unexplored outskirts of the world. In the norther part of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, this is also the case. Operating out of Sodwana bay there are ample shallow reefs where these giants dwell and can be successfully be targeted with poppers and stick-baits. The pure aggression and power which they attack you lure is un-match by any pelagic species.  One guides have been hunting them for the last couple of years with great success, a 46kg beast being the biggest to date.

Situated in the heart of Sodwana Bay, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find the beach lodge – the place of happiness, where laughter and joy resounds!

At the lodge we aim to provide friendly service & an excellent experience to complement our awesome ocean views.

Our comfortably modern cottages and lovely beach house, are nestled among beautiful indigenous bush, which forms part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

The lodge offers a year-round outdoor pool and guests can relax at the restaurant or terrace boasting ocean views.

n enchanting walkway leads down to one of the most breathtakingly beautiful and secluded beaches, on South Africa’s pristine coastline.

Watching the sunrise here is an amazing start to your day. This is also a great spot for the keen angler who enjoys rock and surf fishing. Whale watching from our restaurant deck between June and October is a highlight and an added bonus to the great food and warm and friendly service you will experience with us.
